Ja Morant - NBA Tips

Betseeker’s expert tipsters have you covered for the best NBA tips and predictions for every game of the NBA season.

Although we’ll see a lot of dead rubbers over the next few days, this match-up between the Celtics and Bucks is not one of them!

Best Bet

Grizzlies @ Nuggets (11:00am)

Memphis +2.5 ($1.97)

The Grizzlies record without Ja Morant is actually insane at 20-3 this season, and although they lost in Utah last game they were very close to upsetting the Jazz.

They head to Mile High against the Nuggets, with a 3-0 stranglehold against Denver this season. They match-up very well against the Nuggets due to their defensive frontcourt led by Jaren Jackson Jr and Steven Adams – the big Kiwi will bang bodies with Nikola Jokic and keep him off the offensive glass with the Joker only averaging 9.7 rebounds against Memphis this season. JJJ will be coming over as the additional rim protection.

Expect a tight contest that Memphis can certainly win as underdogs, but happy to take the +2.5 point head start.

Next Best

Magic @ Hornets (9:00am)

Under 228.5 Total Points ($1.90)

Although the Hornets are notoriously a high scoring team, their offensive output has been slightly down recently ranked 14th in the NBA for points scored over the last 10 games at 114.6 per game.

They face the lowest scoring team in the NBA over this period in the Magic. Orlando is only averaging 102.4 points per game over this 10-game stretch, featuring in the lowest scoring games in the NBA over this period with the average total points coming to 213.4 per game.

From Orlando’s last 10 games only three have covered the 228.5 points line, and despite Charlotte’s defence being sub-par I still can’t see the Magic putting up a score.

VALUE BET

Celtics @ Bucks (9:30am)

Milwaukee H2H / Over 228.5 Total Points ($2.85)

Boston enter this clash with the Bucks off no rest with the Celtics defeating the Bulls on Thursday. This gives Milwaukee a huge advantage, with Boston losing three of their last four games off no rest including losses to Detroit and Indiana.

Additional to this, 10 of the last 11 Boston games off no rest has gone over the total points line which sets up perfectly for the Bucks.

From the last 10, Milwaukee is involved in the second highest scoring games averaging 239.5 total points and while Boston is the best defensive team in the NBA, they’ll also capable of scoring big averaging the highest points in the NBA over the last 10 games with 124 per game. Expect the Bucks in a high-scoring affair.
