The Lakers were the third seed in the bustling western conference and were playing an exciting brand of basketball. Luka was unstoppable, Reaves was back and LeBron was just able to play off the stars and contribute how he best saw fit.

How quickly a season can change in an instant. Reaves out, Doncic out and JJ Reddick showed that if you’re not up to it, he will send you to the bench without an explanation.

LeBron however will still turn up for this game, against fellow veteran NBA stars Steph Curry and Draymond Green. I expect his usage rate to be insane, as we saw against Dallas where we saw James finish with 54 PRA, without Doncic and Reaves.

He still has the ability at this level, but he just doesn’t ever look comfortable while doing it.

Big minutes against the Spurs in his last game and I can’t see his legs responding well to playing 40 minutes. Houston is a tough team for the back to basket centres to score against, with so much height and length the Rockets can pack the keyway better than most, without getting burnt from deep.

This will heavily be governed by his points contribution and if Sengun can stay out of foul trouble, he will cause Joel problems all night.
