The Raptors could be a surprise-packet this season. They managed 30 wins in 2024-25 – quite impressive considering they only got 33 games out of Immanuel Quickley, less than 60 games from RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl, while Brandon Ingram didn’t suit up once after arriving there from New Orleans.

If those four players are fully fit along with Scottie Barnes, this Toronto team has more than enough talent to be competitive in a weak Eastern Conference.

I’ve been impressed with what Darko Rajaković has done in his two years at the helm with limitations to his roster – I think we’ll see the Raptors back in the playoffs this year currently paying $2.10.

A Jaylen Brown hamstring a week out from the season opener is just another blow for the Boston Celtics leading into 2025-26.

Jayson Tatum will miss majority of the season, despite reports emerging that he’s recovering at a rapid rate, while Brad Stevens blew up their roster for salary cap purposes, with Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis, Luke Kornet and Al Horford all departing – that’s a significant change to their core roster.

Despite all this, you can never doubt the Celtics and they’ll still be in the playoff mix – but 43 wins is a huge ask for a roster in freefall, and if things don’t go well early they won’t be bringing back Jayson Tatum in a hurry.

Lock this in all your multis. The New York Knicks have added some much-needed depth to their roster in the off-season under the eye of Mike Brown in season 2025-26.

Mitchell Robinson is a vital piece for the Knicks missing majority of last regular season, while they’ve also added some scoring punch in Jordan Clarkson, along with versatile big-man Guerschon Yabusele.

With Robinson and Yabusele up and running, this gives the Knicks the flexibility to go big with KAT at Power Forward which they couldn’t do much of last year.

In a weak Eastern Conference, the Knicks are the clear standouts and don’t be surprised if they win the East ($3.60) and push the most regular season wins ($15).
