No doubt Tatum will continue to receive extra defensive attention – his usage is down this series because of it at an average of 26. This is down over 5 points on his season usage rate of 31.3 – if the Nets are trying to get the ball out of his hands, he’s very important as a passer and a decision maker. Think he might struggle to hit 30 points in Game 3 at Brooklyn, but expect his assist numbers to stay up.

Something is not right at Utah. A few weeks ago the stat was released that Donovan Mitchell passes to Rudy Gobert just 2.3 times per games this season – he turns the ball over more than he passes to the Frenchman, which is showing in his usage this playoff series.
Gobert’s usage this season was at 16.1 – not high, but expected for a pick and roll five-man. But in the playoffs, Gobert’s usage rate is at 11.1.
His PR line is set at 28.5 for this vital Game 4 against the Mavericks, which Gobert hasn’t really come close to in all three playoff games averaging just 23. We constantly expect Utah to respond, but with Luka Doncic a chance to play in Game 4 it could be another disaster for the Jazz and we don’t expect Gobert to have an impact.

Averaging 9.3 assist from the three games this series, Morant has recorded 10 assists in his last 2 games and he should do so again in Game 4 against the Timberwolves.
Minnesota give up assists to point guards 10% above average over the last month which has been a key reason behind the success of Morant so far this series. With others around Morant such as Bane, Brooks and Jackson Jr more than capable having 20 points, expect him to once again record double figure dimes.
