Minnesota made their presence felt when they grabbed game one at FedExForum on Sunday but Ja Morant still had his way with them in the paint. Here are our Wednesday NBA tips.

The Wolves shocked many when they downed the Grizzlies by 13 points on Sunday to steal home court but that loss certainly shouldn’t be blamed on Ja Morant.
The most improved player frontrunner totalled 32 points on 18 shots but his offensive output was aided largely by 20 free throw attempts.
Memphis are the league’s best paint-scoring team and after putting 60 points passed Minnesota on Sunday, a similar number can be expected here with Ja leading the way.
Expect a more efficient performance from Morant in game two and for the NBA’s leading paint scorer to once again make plenty of trips to the line to get this play to cash.

There appears to be some value available here in the form of a player prop that is all the more backable thanks to the injury to Clint Capela.
Miami utilised an extremely switch-heavy defensive scheme in game one to help negate Atlanta’s shooting prowess from deep (#2 in 3PT% this season behind only the Heat).
This move by Spolestra means Bam is spending plenty of time away from the basket, allowing the Heat to utilise his ability to cover all five positions.
The absence of Capela helps our cause here with Adebayo unlikely to have to spend as much time around the rim as he otherwise would have if Atlanta’s number one rebounder was active.
Miami have defended Trae and the Hawks similarly all season and Bam is yet to record more than six rebounds against them. At north of $2 this is a play all day long.

Devin Booker is a gifted scorer of the basketball who is averaging 30.7 points in 35.5 minutes per game since the All-Star break.
Over that same span, Booker has hit 30 points at just shy of a 60 per cent clip with plenty of those games featuring blowouts where he didn’t play anywhere near the sort of minutes he’ll see here.
The Kentucky product played 41 minutes in game one, which featured plenty of stretches where Monty Williams could’ve chosen to sit his star players. That bodes well for this play in a game that could play out very similarly on the scoreboard.
