This century there has been three aces on No.6 and an incredible 17 on No.16. There have been 10 hole-in-ones since 2016. With soft conditions forecast, particularly early, an ace is on the cards. This is short but is a bet.

Clark could not profile any better and it is quite astonishing that this is his first Masters. He is an elite iron player who handles the pressure – he did win the US Open last year – and he can be the best of a hot debut class. Betting him to win it all.
Value Bet
Three-time winner Phil Mickelson is obviously a long way past his prime but it does not stop him contending at Augusta. He was remarkable finishing T-2 last year, his second runner-up finish in the last decade. Experience counts here and that puts him in good stead ahead of the two favourites.
Longshot Bet
Scottie Scheffler obviously profiles tremendously and is the favourite. Putting him in with top selection Joaquin Niemann, who should have a very big tournament as one of the most in-form players on the planet right now.
