Tony Finau is heavily favoured to make it back-to-back wins but there is much better value on the board including recent Bermuda Championship winner Seamus Power and a host of veterans.
Best Bet
There are few players on Tour in better form than Seamus Power with the Irishman winning in Bermuda and finishing T-3 at Mayakoba in his last two starts. Bermuda is a great guide for here as is the Sony Open where Power finished 3rd this year. Power ranks 6th in Putting Average and 9th in Birdie or Better while he finished last season 10th in Par 4 Scoring.
Mid-Tier Bet
This is a tournament for veterans and Kuchar is a veteran who profiles well and is running into some form. He has four straight Top 35 finishes and has finished Top 35 in nine of his last 14 tournaments. Kuchar ranks 4th in Scrambling, 11th in Strokes Gained: Putting and 17th in Par 4 Scoring. Recent form at the Sony and RBC Heritage are good pushes.
Value Bet
We haven’t seen a lot of Justin Rose in recent years but he comes in off a T-9 in Houston. He ranks 6th in Proximity, 7th in Putting Average and 20th Strokes Gained: Putting. Finished Top 20 in the 2021 Charles Schwab, a tournament that is a good guy.
Longshot Bet
Veteran Chris Kirk is a great play this week. His form on the correlation courses is outstanding with Top 15 finishes in the 2022 Charles Schwab, the last two Honda Classics, the 2021 Sony Open and the 2021 RBC Heritage. Ranks 10th in Strokes Gained: Around The Green and 20th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green.
