After last week’s incredible trip through the majesty of Augusta, we are blessed to shift to Hilton Head for the elevated RBC Heritage.
Best Bet
It is time to get smitten with young Swede Ludvig Aberg. In his major debut he finished second at Augusta, barely making a mistake on the final day, smiling his way through the hottest of fires. He does not look likely to suffer from being in the cut and thrust of the Masters and he is the defending champion of the most important correlation tournament, the RSM Classic.
Mid-Tier Bet
Finau is an astonishing price this week. He has finished Top 40 here in his last three starts and he has been playing well enough to compete. He ranks 6th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green, 8th in Proximity, 11th in GIR and 12th in Birdie or Better. Has sensational form on Pete Dye courses with Top 25 finishes in the last two American Expresses, the 2021 PGA Championship, the 2022 Travelers and 2023 Players.
Value Bet
Georgia local who profiles tremendously here. Ranks 5th in Birdie or Better, 7th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green, 15th in Strokes Gained: Putting and 15th in Driving Accuracy. Won in January and has five Top 30s since. Playing very well.
Longshot Bet
Elite putter who was desperately unlucky not to steal the Valero Texas Open and then followed it up with a made cut at Augusta. Ranks 3rd in Scrambling, 6th in Putting Average and 9th in Strokes Gained: Putting. Finished Top 25 here in two of the last three years.
