The inaugural LIV Golf season comes to a close in Miami this week with the inaugural teams event that comes with huge prizemoney on a course that is very familiar to PGA Tour fans.
Best Bet
The Latin-centric Fireballs will benefit from a first round bye. They have all four members contributing at present with Eugenio Chacarra winning in Bangkok, Abraham Ancer posting back-to-back Top 10s, Carlos Ortiz having two Top 4 LIV results in six tournaments and Sergio Garcia finishing Top 9 in four of his last five.
Mid-Tier Bet
The Australian-centric Punch team has seriously underachieved since joining LIV. Cameron Smith has a win but has been poor since but we all know his class. Marc Leishman and Matt Jones though are both multiple-time winners on the PGA Tour who can make a deep push in the team format.
Longshot Bet
The Cleeks have not done a lot on the LIV circuit but there is no doubt plenty of upside with Laurie Canter and Martin Kaymer, Graeme McDowell and Richard Bland are wily veterans who will show up with big money on the line.
