The LIV Tour heads to Asia for the first time with the LIV Bangkok Invitational taking place at the exclusive Stonehill course with many of the best golfers in the world lining up.
Best Bet
Smith claimed the LIV Chicago Invitational, his second LIV event, and arguably the best player in the world is better suited to this Bangkok event close to his homeland. He led the PGA Tour in both Birdie or Better and Putting Average and ranked 8th in Strokes Gained: Putting. On a course that will reward scoring and not punish stray tee shots, Smith is the one to beat.
Mid-Tier Bet
Talor Gooch has been excellent on the LIV circuit with four Top 9 finishes in five starts including five sub-70 rounds. He ranks Top 20 in Birdie or Better and Putting Average. Will again be around the mark.
Value Bet
A LIV golf original who already has a win on the circuit after claiming LIV Portland. Four Top 13 finishes in five LIV events. He is a golfer who is typically well-travelled so the trip to Bangkok should prove no issue.
Longshot Bet
Tremendous sand player and that should play well at the Stonehill course that is renowned for its bunkers. Finished Top 20 in three of his last four LIV events and looks one to benefit from being in a very talented team. Australian form is a good guide and he is a winner of the Australian Open.
