The DP World Tour heads to Denmark this week for the staging of the Danish Golf Championship with the main contenders all looking to win their national championship.
Best Bet
Eight-time DP World Tour Bernd Wiesberger has been flying of late and it won’t be long until he wins again. He has finished Top 25 in nine of his last 12 starts with Top 7 finishes in three of his last six. Wiesberger ranks 2nd in Bogey Avoidance, 3rd in Scrambling, 3rd in GIR and 5th in Strokes Gained: Approach. Wiesberger has won two of the last four Danish Golf Championships.
Mid-Tier Bet
There is no question that Nicolai Hojgaard is the best golfer in the field. He has contended in majors, won a Ryder Cup and nearly won on the PGA Tour. If he is anywhere near his best he will be right in the mix here. He ranks 2nd in GIR and 3rd in Strokes Gained: Approach on the DP World Tour this year.
Value Bet
Elvira is not the most consistent type but he does bob up. He won the Soudal Open in May and this is an event that should suit. Ranks 7th in Strokes Gained: Approach and 7th in Scrambling.
Longshot Bet
Aiken is surprisingly a strong profile this week. He ranks 3rd in Bogey Avoidance, 11th in Scrambling, 12th in Putts Per GIR and 14th in Strokes Gained: Approach. Form is strong with seven Top 25s in his last nine starts.
