The Wells Fargo returns to a course familiar with PGA Tour watchers this year and it is one that will suit those that find fairways and greens.
Best Bet
Seamus Power (Topsport Odds – $38)
Irishman Seamus Power is one on the up and looks very well suited here. He is a quality iron player who ranks fourth in GIR this year. He also ranks 10th in Bogey Avoidance. Power putts his best on bent greens and gets that here.
Mid-Tier Bet
Luke List (Topsport Odds – $95)
The two key correlation courses for here are Torrey Pines and Muirfield Village. Luke List won the Farmers Insurance this year and he finished Top 10 at The Memorial in 2020. He ranks 4th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green, 10th in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee, 11th in GIR and 16th in Strokes Gained: Approach. He is a stupid price.
Roughie
Ryan Armour (Topsport Odds – $171)
Ryan Armour does not put a lot of good tournaments together but has found a course that suits his skillset down to the ground. Armour leads the Tour in Driving Accuracy. He leads thee Tour in Proximity. He ranks Top 20 in Bogey Avoidance, Scrambling and Strokes Gained: Off The Tee. You won’t find may $171 shots going better.
Prop
Tournament H2H – Russell Knox ($1.88) v Martin Laird
Russell Knox is primed for a big tournament and should have his countryman Martin Laird covered. This course suits someone accurate from the tee with a strong iron game. Knox ranks Top 20 in GIR, Strokes Gained: Approach, Proximity and Driving Accuracy.
