A new tournament on the schedule kicks off a two-week run in Spain and it is a welcome return after a long hiatus to the DP World Tour.
Best Bet
Bernd Wiesberger ($19)
Talented Austrian chasing his ninth win on the DP World Tour, Bernd Wiesberger is the clear class in the field here.
He has a beautiful approach game and that makes him the standout. Wiesberger ranks 3rd in Strokes Gained: Approach and 5th in GIR.
Four Top 12 finishes in his last five starts in Europe. The man to beat.
Mid-Tier Bet
Alexander Bjork ($61)
Talented Swede who profiles nicely here. Ranks 2nd on Tour in Bogey Avoidance, 12th in Scrambling and 15th in Strokes Gained: Approach. Does his best work on mainland Europe too with three Top 13 finishes in his last seven starts.
Roughie
Alejandro Canizares ($251)
Local who is tremendous value at such big odds. Recent form is awful but does his best in Europe where he has three Top 25s in his last four starts. He also boasts two Top 12s on this course when it hosted the qualifying school on the Challenge Tour from 2017-19 including a win in 2018.
Prop
Top Australian – Maverick Antcliff ($5)
Underrated Australian who ranks Top 10 on the DP World Tour in Strokes Gained: Approach. Has two Top 10s in the last year so can show up.
