The first of the teams to play their last group stage game today and its led off by the top two teams in group B.

Canada managed two early goals before the bad turned to horrible for Qatar. They eventually were reduced to 9 men, following two red cards and Canada piled on 6 goals.

Switzerland recovered from their underwhelming draw with Qatar and looked more like the Switzerland we expected, winning convincingly 4-1 against Bosnia. It took until the 74^th minute for either side to break through, but once Switzerland did, it was raining goals.

Both teams still have a chance at the top seed in the group, so I see some fireworks rather than a dead rubber. Switzerland are currently second on goal differential and will need the win, to advance atop the group.

The difference is significant with the winner of group B playing a 3^rd seed whilst the group B second seed will play Group A second seed, at this stage South Korea.

Switzerland will go in as favourites for this game but Canada have no reason to doubt themselves. If the game is close in the second half, we should see both teams going for the win rather than shutting up shop.

Ndoye was extremely unlucky against Bosnia and Herzegovina not to score. A bicycle kick attempt, where he made great connection but was straight at the keeper, who reacted and sent the ball over the crossbar. It would have been the goal of the tournament one foot either side of the goalkeeper.
