Qatar will be without two key players from their lineup, who received red cards in their last match with Canada. Finishing the game with only 9 players on the field makes it almost impossible to stay competitive and a 6-0 smashing emphasises this.

Bosnia have managed to score at least one goal in each of their opening group games, which should give them some confidence coming into this match with Qatar. Although Bosnia are the lowest in the group on FIFA rankings, they will head into this match fairly short odd favourites.

Bosnia will be disappointed in the way they finished against Switzerland. With four goals scored against them in the last twenty-five minutes, the score hardly reflects the match.

The Swiss had control of the ball and had Bosnia on the back foot for the entire first half with only a small glimpse of offence by Bosnia just before half time.

I’m banking on what I saw against Canada to be the benchmark for these guys and hopefully the best of their tournament has been saved for last. It will take a Bosnia win to keep them in this competition and the bigger the better, with only the best eight third placed teams advancing.

They have both been completely outplayed by their group counterparts and rightfully so. It will be interesting to see how they go against the team they probably both highlighted as their biggest chance for a win.

Bosnia scored really late against Switzerland, and it was an absolute belter. Ermin Mahmic with his first touch after being subbed in, shot a rocket passed a jam-packed box and ripped the back of the net. Not bad for his first two minutes on the field.

Qatar have not looked like scoring and technically they haven’t, with their one goal of the tournament coming via an own goal from Switzerland. They have just three shots on goal combined and have only managed five attempts inside the opposition box.

I don’t see either team lighting it up for multiple goals in the first half. Qatar will need to go deeper into their squad to find players for their suspensions, which shouldn’t come into play, if at all, until the second half.

Bosnia did score in just 21 minutes against Canada and then held the lead until Canada equalised just before 80 minutes. The attack just wasn’t their against Switzerland with no big chances created, only three corners for the match and just eight touches inside the box.

If they can replicate the match against Canada here against Qatar, they will be too strong and should find their first win.
