Morocco v Portugal

Best Bet

Goncalo Ramos 2+ Shots on Target
Half Time/Full Time

Portugal made the change we assumed they would, reducing Ronaldo’s role and the side’s dependancy on him. It worked wonders and CR7 shouldn’t be given the starting role back.

Morocco played their hearts out against Spain but after that gruelling 120 minute battle, fronting up against a team in the form that Portugal is, should be too tough an ask.

Portugal will dominate possession here, which will open up plenty of betting opportunities in this match. More passing opportunities for defenders and midfielders, more shot opportunities for forwards and very little cards for the favourites.

Ronaldo still leads all betting markets which is crazy considering his replacement Goncalo Ramos had five shots on target and scored a hat-trick last game. Ramos should get ample opportunity again and looks great value to have another big game. 3+ shots on target at $8.50 is huge value.

Portugal are coming off consecutive games without cards and with so much possession predicted here, the $4.75 for Portugal Under 0.5 Cards is another great value play in the match.

England v France

Best Bet

France To Advance/Under 3.5 Goals
Qualify/Total Double

As has been the case at the previous major tournaments and with Gareth Southgate’s side since 2018, England beat the teams they are far better than and lose to strong sides.

The tip at the start of the tournament was for England to be eliminated in the quarter finals and that still looks like the most likely result.

While the best situation for all fans would for this game to be a high-scoring goal fest, these teams are likely to switch out attacking midfielders for central holding midfielders and try and grind out their opponent.

In their last eight meetings, France have won five and drawn two while England claimed one win in a 2015 friendly.

France will lean on their stars here and Antoine Griezmann has been in dominant form. He leads the team in expected assists and of all French players yet to score, he leads in expected goals.

Griezmann is behind only Kylian Mbappe in shots on target so the $2.35 for Griezmann to Score or Assist looks a great play.
