South Korea v Portugal
Best Bet
One desperate team up against a team that has already qualified. We saw how this played out with Tunisia topping France but can South Korea get the job done?
It may be tough to bank on South Korea scoring depending on how strong of a side Portugal put out but they will go down swinging.
South Korea had 22 shots against Ghana, the second most they have ever had in a World Cup game and come into this clash with even more on the line.
It’s hard to see who Portugal will put on the park in this game but there is some value for South Korea in Kim Jin-Su the wing defender with four shots, one on target and an assist this tournament. $21 for Kim Jin-Su to score is the best value on the card for the day.
Ghana v Uruguay
Best Bet
The Suarez-Ghana rematch from 2010 where all eyes will be on the Uruguayan number 9.
The should be an entertaining match even outside of the drama. Ghana have scored five goals this tournament and conceded five while Uruguay are yet to score. The latter point is why the overs is above even money.
But with a spot in the Round of 16 on the line, expect Uruguay to be all guns blazing in this clash.
There were six yellows and one red when these teams met in 2010 so this match could also turn fiery, play the overs on any card markets in multis.
Serbia v Switzerland
Best Bet
Despite sitting bottom of Group G, Serbia have been a far better side than the table suggests. Outside of a three-minute brain fade against Cameroon they would have a win under their belt and likely be heavier favourites here.
A draw should be enough for Switzerland to qualify so expect them to sit back as they did against Brazil and try and hold on in a stalemate. Similar to that game, I expect their opposition to break through in the second period.
From a goal scoring perspective, Aleksandar Mitrovic ($2.75) has seven goals in his last six games for Serbia and leads his team in shots and shots on target this tournament.
Cameroon v Brazil
Best Bet
Brazil have had an historic start to this tournament, they average 18 shots per game and not only have they not conceded a goal, they are yet to face a shot on target.
While they may not trot out a full strength side considering they have already qualified for the knockout stage, Brazil’s reserves could win this whole thing so don’t expect them to drop off singnificantly.
With an expected squad rotation look to the likes of Gabriel Jesus ($2.75) and Rodrygo ($4.00) to get on the scoresheet for the tournament favourites.
