Tunisia v France

Best Bet

Marcus Thuram
Anytime Goalscorer

With France already locked in to the Round of 16, there is a good chance of squad rotation for the reigning World Cup champs.

Didier Deschamps has already tried to get minutes into Mönchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram late in games against Australia and Denmark but Thuram could see much more against Tunisia.

36-year-old Olivier Giroud has played 151 minutes already while 31-year-old Antoine Greizmann has played 179 so it would make sense for Deschamps to keep them fresh with a game off.

Thuram has 13 goals in 17 games across all competitions and is great value for a goal or two at $10.00.

Australia v Denmark

Best Bet

Second Half
Highest Scoring Half

It all comes down to this for Denmark and Australia. Denmark need a win to go through while the Socceroos will be content with a draw.

Graham Arnold’s side have taken an early lead against both France and Tunisia but likely won’t have the same intent to score in this clash.

Mat Ryan and the Aussie back four were admirable in keeping a clean sheet against Tunisia but looked more shaky as the game went on. Expect the first half of this match to be a stalemate but if Denmark break through, the Socceroos will need to match the attacking intensity.

In terms of goal scorers, Denmark’s Andreas Cornelius has the most xGoals for the tournament with four shots and two shots on target in only 70 minutes game time. With more time on the pitch, he is a great chance to get on the scoresheet at $3.00.

Poland v Argentina

Best Bet

Argentina Win/Argentina 4+ Corners
Same Game Multi

Poland have lost their last three World Cup matches against South American sides without scoring a goal and while they may get on the scoresheet here, it’s hard to see Argentina dropping this game with so much on the line.

H2H there isn’t much value in Argentina but coupled with them getting at least four corners, it looks a great bet at over even money.

Argentina have registered 13 corners across their opening two games while Poland have conceded 11 so there could be plenty in this one.

Saudi Arabia v Mexico

Best Bet

Both Teams To Score
Saudi Arabia vs Mexico

Saudi Arabia have looked the far better side this World Cup but both they and Mexico will likely be sweating the result in the Poland/Argentina game to see if they progress.

Unfortunately they are on at the same time so the best strategy for these sides is to go all out for the win and give it their best shot to progress.

Mexico have had no avenues to goal this tournament. but Saudi Arabia have only kept a clean sheet once in 18 World Cup games so this looks a good spot to break through.

Hard to see how this game of conflicting styles finishes up but there could be a few goals throughout 90 minutes with both teams getting on the scoresheet.
