RR are the form team in the competition and their bowling attack is well suited to exposing SRH’s known weakness through the middle. Back them even away from home.

SRH lead the all-time series 12-9 across 21 meetings and have won four of the last five, including a stunning 44-run victory here last season when they posted 286, the highest total in IPL history. They also hold a 6-3 record at this venue against RR. The home conditions and recent H2H record both give pause, but this SRH side is a very different beast without Pat Cummins. Their bowling has given up 200-plus totals in three of four games and their middle order has scored at a strike rate of just 141 in 2026, the seventh-worst in the competition.

RR have ticked every box this season. Jaiswal and Sooryavanshi score at a combined run rate of 12.5 in the powerplay, Archer and Burger are a genuinely good new-ball partnership and Ravi Bishnoi leads the competition with nine wickets at an average of 12.67. Bishnoi’s rapid googly on a Hyderabad pitch with true pace and bounce is a dangerous weapon against a middle order that can get bogged down.
