The 1-3 Thunder are in need of a win when they host the 1-2 Scorchers in Sydney on Tuesday night.

On paper the Scorchers are the stronger side, but there is some value in the Thunder’s price given the recent trends.

ENGIE Stadium is typically a slower surface that suits the Thunder’s strong spin attack, a stark contrast to the fast, bouncy Optus Stadium. The Thunder have won four of their last five matches in Western Sydney.
The visitors will receive a significant boost with Josh Inglis released from the Test squad to line up here. The Thunder are expected to go in unchanged.
Chasing has generally been an advantage in BBL 15, but that trend hasn’t held at this venue, where the team batting first has won four straight. That should negate any advantage with the toss.
