After finishing dead last in BBL 14, the Strikers will be looking to get their season off to a winning start in Sydney against the Sixers.

The Sixers are a great bet at home, winning 26 of their last 32. Home teams have also been dominating the competition lately, winning eight of the last nine.
The magenta team have owned this match-up for years, winning 11 of the last 13, including the last seven at home. They were solid in the rain-affected opening match against the Scorchers, the toughest test in BBL cricket, only going down in the final over.
The home side have made arguably the biggest signing of the season in Pakistani superstar Babar Azam. While he failed to fire against the Scorchers, he should be more suited to conditions at the SCG.
The Strikers have added solid middle order bat Jason Sangha, but lost Jake Weatherald and veteran D’Arcy Short. The Matt Short and Chris Lynn duo will need to do the heavy lifting with the bat until Travis Head and Alex Carey return post-Ashes.
The Sixers’ record at home is too good to ignore. Back them for the win.

The keeper-batter looked solid in the Strikers’ opening match, hitting 28. He loves playing the Strikers, scoring 20+ runs in five of his last seven knocks against them.
