The 3-2 Perth Strikers will aim for a third straight victory when they host the Adelaide Strikers at Optus Stadium on Sunday night.
Head to Head
Perth remain an automatic bet at home, especially against a middling team like the Strikers.
The Scorchers have won 30 of 37 at Optus Stadium and are especially difficult to beat when chasing, winning 12 of 13 from that position.
The home side have been dealt a blow, however, with Finn Allen ruled out with a finger injury. Local Joel Curtis looks set to debut behind the stumps.
The Strikers should go in unchanged, and while they are coming off a big win on New Year’s Eve against the Heat, they remain a poor bet on the road, only winning five of 20 away from Adelaide.
They is some hope for the Strikers if they chase, as the Scorchers have lost of of six batting first as favourites, but otherwise this should be a comfortable win for the home side.
Best Bet
The young gun continues to look a class above at BBL level, scoring 25+ runs in eight of his last 10 matches at home. He’s scored 25+ runs in three of five knocks this season, falling short twice against the canny Hurricanes bowling attack.
Value Bet
The Bison is an unbelievable player of the match bet in Big Bash cricket, taking the award in five of his last 12 matches. While he had struggled early in BBL 15, his century last time out in Hobart suggests he could explode in the back-half of the tournament.
