There should be fireworks at Marvel Stadium on Monday night when the 1-1 Renegades host the 1-1 Scorchers.

The toss will once again be crucial as chasing teams continue to dominate in BBL 14.

So far, through nine games, teams batting second have won eight times, with the Melbourne Stars being the only exception after losing to the Strikers when batting first.

The Renegades will be desperate to avoid batting first, having lost their last seven games in that scenario. Meanwhile, the Scorchers are slightly more comfortable in this position, boasting five straight wins when batting first at Marvel. However, the Renegades are a much-improved side this season.

The visitors will be without Jhye Richardson, who is a significant loss, and Aaron Hardie remains sidelined. The home side is at full strength.
