Crazy to think that Cripps’ price hasn’t moved after a clear best-on performance with 31 disposals, 16 contested possessions, 13 clearances and 11 score involvements.

Cripps is now within striking distance of Isaac Heeney and could go past the Swan next round with Sydney having the bye in Round 12.

With Heeney’s poor polling history, Nick Daicos has stormed in and will be Cripps’ biggest danger heading into the second half of the season.

Essendon’s next three weeks include the Suns at Gold Coast who haven’t lost at home this season, followed by Carlton and then the bye.

The likes of Warner and Daicos have swooped hard which has squeezed Merrett out after a quieter few weeks, but the market hasn’t adjusted with the Bomber’s recent performances.

Connor Rozee playing as a forward on the weekend was a great sign for Jason Horne-Francis that we’ll see the former pick 1 in the midfield more frequently for the Power.

It was Horne-Francis’ second highest percentage of centre bounce attendances this season in his best-on-ground effort against North Melbourne and although we currently only have him on 9 votes in 14^th place at this stage, he has all the attributes to make a second-half run similar to Errol Gulden last year.

Polling won’t be an issue for the young bull – Horne-Francis last year was projected to poll 8 votes and finished with 16.
