Ballarat can be a cold place but with perfect weather forecast for Saturday, the number should go over what is a very low total.
Both teams went under the total last week but that had more to do with weather (in Gold Coast’s case) or total ineptitude from the opposition (Collingwood against the Dogs) than either team being a defensive powerhouse.
Across the balance of the season, both of these teams are about middle of the road when it comes to scoring and conceding.
These teams met twice in 2021 and the number went over the total in both games.
Don’t expect them to rewrite the scoring record books but with the number set so low, it can clear comfortably.

Same Game Multi
The Bulldogs look back to something near their best and should be good enough to win here. Macrae has had 30 or more in four of his last five games against the Suns. Chol is in terrific form this season and has multiple goals in five games.
Value Bet
With the Suns key backs in good form, they should be able to keep Aaron Naughton in check. The Dogs generally share the scoring load outside of him so it wouldn’t surprise if Chol topped the goal scoring in this one, especially given the Dogs lack of depth in the key defender ranks.
