A tricky game to end the round at Optus Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with very little confidence on either side of the ledger.
Best Bet
Very little confidence here but we’ll take the Eagles to remain close.
GWS have covered the line in just one of their last eight games. They had a golden opportunity to put away Essendon at home last week and escaped with only a 14-point win. They also have a poor record out west, covering in just four of eleven at Optus Stadium.
There is no great faith in West Coast either, but they kept a high-scoring Melbourne side to below 100 points last week and remained within 32 points. Against a Giants side in uncertain form, they should be competitive enough to cover.
Take West Coast, reluctantly.
Same Game Multi
Jake Stringer loves a easy match-up, kicking three against Essendon last week and three against North two weeks prior.
GWS continue to struggle against key forwards without Sam Taylor and Jake Waterman has kicked three in each of his last two games.
Finn Callaghan is averaging 29 disposals this season and should rack up plenty against a West Coast midfield offering little resistance.
Value Bet
Not a lot of value on offer here but young Eagles small forward Malakai Champion has kicked a goal in each of his last two games. It won’t take much for him to snag an extra one at a good price.
