Their recent record in this match-up is also solid, covering in four of the last five, though in an odd fixture quirk this is only the second time Brisbane have played at Optus Stadium.
Brisbane destroyed Essendon by 90 points last week but the Bombers are in a class of their own in terms of awfulness. Before that the Lions had covered in just one of eight against bottom-six teams.
They regain some big guns in McCluggage and Zorko while Brandon Starcevich should return to face his old side.
It might be a nervous watch but the home side are the bet.

Conor McKenna has kicked two goals in four straight games while Jobe Shanahan has kicked nine goals in his last four.

Key forwards have been an issue for Brisbane all year, ranked third worst for conceding goals to that position. With Harris Andrews likely to take Waterman, Shanahan could bring up his third three-plus goal effort in five games against a defence that has been tested by talls all season.
