This is a tricky way to end the weekend but the Saints have a strong record out west and that should be enough here.
St Kilda have covered the line in six of their last seven at Optus Stadium, winning the last four.
Ross Lyon is playing a more attacking style than we’re used to from his teams and it’s paying off. The Saints are averaging 10 more points per game this year than last.
It also means they can put teams away when on top, already beating both Freo and Richmond by 60 or more. Last year their only ten-goal win came against West Coast.
The Eagles haven’t had much of a home ground edge, covering just once in four games at Optus and losing by an average of 35 points. Playing bottom ten teams hasn’t helped either, with two covers in six games and the same average losing margin.
St Kilda are well-drilled and consistent. They should handle this one comfortably.
Same Game Multi
Wanganeen-Milera has had 25+ in nine of his last 10, Liam Baker has had 20+ touches in each of his games for West Coast and Ryan Maric has had 20+ in eight straight.
Value Bet
As mentioned, two of St Kilda’s four wins have been by ten goals or more already this season. West Coast have lost three of nine by 10+ goals this season. A blowout wouldn’t surprise here.
