This is a tough betting game but we’ll side with Port given their strong record in this match-up.

Ken Hinkley’s side have won and covered the line in four of their last five games as underdogs against the Swans. The Power were poor through the first month of the season but found form against Hawthorn last week, winning by 30 points after leading by 59 at half time.

The Swans have been solid, beating Fremantle and North Melbourne comfortably while falling short against three strong sides in Collingwood, Brisbane and Hawthorn.

Their already thin key forward stocks take another hit this week with Joel Amartey out and Logan McDonald still unavailable. This likely pushes one of Tom McCartin or Joel Hamling into the forward line alongside ruckman Peter Ladhams. Tom Papley is also missing.

It’s a low confidence game but Port looked sharp last week with Zak Butters back to his best and Connor Rozee playing off half-back. We’ll take them with a good head start in this one.
