Best Bet
The Swans have a strong record against their crosstown rivals and look the bet here.
They’ve won six of their last seven against the Giants, covering the line in five of those with an average winning margin of 20 points. They’ve also been reliable as SCG outsiders, covering in nine of 14.
Neither side is tracking as well as last year, with both teams struggling around the contest. They each sit in the bottom five for contested possession differential and are outside the top eight for clearance differential.
Both come into this off losing runs, but against solid opposition. The Swans have dropped games to the Suns, Power and Pies, while the Giants have fallen to the Dogs and Crows.
Form-wise there’s not much between these teams, and despite their long injury list, the nine-point head start for the Swans at home looks appealing.
Same Game Multi
Jesse Hogan has kicked 2+ in 15 straight games. Isaac Heeney has kicked a goal in six of seven at home. Lachie Ash is averaging 28.1 touches this season with 29+ in five straight.
Value Bet
Not a whole lot of value on offer here but Justin McInerney had a season-high 29 touches last week with a season-high 38% centre bounce attendance. He also had a 23 touch outing three games back. There’s some big prices about for another 25+ disposal game.
