The numbers suggest St Kilda can run the reigning premiers close again here. The Saints have built a strong record as underdogs, covering the line in seven straight matches, while the underdog has now covered in 12 consecutive St Kilda games overall.

Brisbane have also been a poor bet early in seasons, failing to cover the line in nine straight March matches. They have battled injuries to start the year, although they do regain Zac Bailey and Darcy Gardiner from suspension and Logan Morris from injury.
