The Lions return to the MCG for the first time since their Grand Final demolition of Sydney. Expect a similar result against Richmond.

Pray for Richmond.
After an extraordinary Round 1 victory over Carlton, the Tigers have been demolished in their last two games—losing by 72 and 82 points to the Power and Saints, respectively – two teams not expected to be serious contenders in 2025.
The undefeated Lions, however, are, and after three wins by less than 20 points, the reigning premiers will be licking their lips at this match-up. Their last two meetings with Richmond have been complete blowouts – winning by 81 points in 2023 and 119 last year.
The numbers don’t get any better for the Tigers. Richmond have failed to cover in 12 straight day games and in seven of their last eight overall.
This could get very, very ugly.
Same Game Multi
Morris and Ah Chee look the value in the goal-kicking markets.
Lachie Neale has been tagged in two of his three games this season so we’re getting some inflated prices for him on disposals. The Tigers don’t have a designated tagger so expect him to rack them up.
Value Bet
There are some monster prices around for Richmond to suffer another belting. The Lions are more then capable of raising the bat with a 100+ point margin here.
