Expect a high scoring clash at Adelaide Oval.

Since Mark McVeigh took over as GWS coach, Giants games have produced plenty of points. This week against Port should prove no exception.
Forget last week’s game that was played in a swimming pool (72 was still a high total to achieve under the circumstances), since McVeigh took the reigns the shackles have come off and Giants have claims to be known as ‘the entertainers’.
They’ve gone over 200 total points in three of the six games under the new coach, the exceptions being the North game, the Pies game (Collingwood kicked 11.22 but the total still went over the line) and last week’s game in biblical rain.
Since Round 10, the Giants are averaging 15 goals a side and have scored a goal from 28% of inside 50s. Jesse Hogan is back to his best and Toby Greene is capable of anything.
Scoring has also trended up in Port’s games of late, with totals of 190 and 184 in the last two weeks, even against a defensive power last week in Fremantle.
With clear weather forecast for Adelaide, the number should cruise over.

Stephen Coniglio is back playing a pure on ball role and has cleared 30 in his last four matches. Jesse Hogan has bagged two or more in five of his last six games.
Value Bet
Three of the Giants last six games have cracked the double ton so the odds on offer for this bet (the highest number available) are highly tempting.
