Best Bet
Backing the Suns to put on a score against the defensively putrid North looks a sensational bet.
The Roos have conceded 100+ points in 21 of their last 27 matches, going back to the beginning of 2024. Four of those matches were wins, meaning that they’ve only not conceded triple figures in two defeats.
Gold Coast look to have finally come of age this year. Yes, they’ve had a soft draw to start the year, but they have punished bad teams like a good team should, recording 58 and 87 point wins against the Dees and Eagles respectively.
More importantly for our bet here, they put on 136 and 120 points in those games, and even scored 91 against the much-improved Crows last week.
The Suns are the second-best team at scoring from turnover this year, while North are the fourth-worst at defending them. It all should add up to a big score for Damien Hardwick’s team on Saturday.
Same Game Multi
North simply aren’t defending well enough to contain the offensively powerful Suns to a score they can better.
This is a big total but we’ll back North to put enough on the scoreboard to get us past this number. Four of their last five have gone over.
Small and medium talls give North the most issues so Ben Long looks some value to hit the scoreboard. Touk Miller is also spending more time forward and has six goals in three games.
Value Bet
The Suns have hit this mark in two of three games this year. Back 130+ and 140+ too if you can find them.
