The Hawks have the wood on the Dogs and the recent record makes this a straightforward play.

Hawthorn have won and covered in five straight against the Bulldogs, including just nine weeks ago at Gather Round. The last three margins have been 37, 22 and 40 points. This is not a close rivalry right now.

The Hawks are blessed with a great injury run and could regain Tom Barrass and Connor Nash here, which would leave just two players on their injury list. The Dogs are slowly getting back to full strength with Cody Weightman returning for his first game in nearly two years, but they remain without Sam Darcy and Tom Liberatore for the season.
