The red-hot Hawks look a terrific chance of upsetting the Giants on Saturday afternoon in Launceston.
Best Bet
Hawthorn have been in outstanding form over the last month and a half and can continue their run against the out of touch Giants.
The Hawks have now won four of their last five with only the two goals conceded in the last minute against Port stopping that from being five straight.
It’s no coincidence that their return to form coincided with some key personnel returning from injury and in further good news the Hawks have name an unchanged line up this week, while the Giants have lost Harry Perryman and Stephen Coniglio.
While the Giants have dominated the head to head record between these two sides having won the last three, the biggest margin has been 22 points and the Hawks have covered the line in three of the last four.
The Hawks outstanding record in Launceston is also worth mentioning. Hawthorn have covered 10 of 16 in the last four years at their home away from home including eight of twelve as outsiders. They’ve also caused six head to head upsets in that time.
Back them in to make is seven.
