The Bulldogs have an excellent record against the Giants and should remain more than competitive here.
Luke Beveridge’s team have won seven of their last eight against GWS, with their only defeat coming by just five points.
The Dogs have, as usual, been tough to get a handle on in 2025, beating North, Carlton and St Kilda, but losing narrowly to Collingwood, Freo and the Lions (after leading by five goals at half time).
The loss of Sam Darcy is obviously enormous, but they still piled on over 120 points last week despite him going down early.
The Giants lost a bizarrely low-scoring stinker in Adelaide last week, and typically are a poor bet at their adopted home in Canberra, only winning four of their last twelve there with just three covers.
They should regain Jesse Hogan for this match but that may not be enough to put a margin on their opponents here.
