The Suns are a must-bet when playing in Darwin and the record makes that very clear.

Gold Coast have won eight straight at the venue and covered the line in seven of those, with the only miss coming last year against Hawthorn where the Hawks covered by a single point. Darwin can produce sticky, wet conditions and experience up there counts for plenty. The Suns know the ground, the climate and the conditions.

The Suns are not flying but got a solid win against GWS last week and their overall betting record in this game is strong, covering in 12 of 17 against the Saints. St Kilda have had a better month but that coincided with a softer run, beating Port Adelaide, West Coast and Carlton. This is a significant step up in class.

With the Suns’ record in the Top End, they are hard to go past.
