This could get very ugly for the Eagles.

West Coast were dismantled by 128 points against Sydney last week and their other game against quality opposition was a 59-point loss to Gold Coast in Round 1.

As discussed last week, the Eagles look a completely different team without Elliot Yeo and their recent form against better sides has been alarming, covering in just 18 of 45 against top eight teams. Their recent record away from home is awful too, losing by an average of 54 points in their last 33 games on the road.

Geelong have won their last four against West Coast by an average of 67 points and Norwood Oval’s narrow dimensions are very similar to GMHBA Stadium, so the Cats will feel right at home.
