Many expected Fremantle to take a big step forward in 2025, but after six rounds they still look like an average AFL side.
The Dockers are 3-3 but are yet to face a top-four opponent and have already played four of the current bottom five. It’s easy to forget how young this team still is, with Justin Longmuir fielding the second-youngest and second-least experienced side across the opening six rounds.
Adelaide have dropped two of their last three, but each of those games came against top-six opposition. They fell to the Suns on the Gold Coast by a single point in a highly controversial finish and lost to Geelong in arguably the highest-quality game of the season.
Darcy Fogarty will be missing for the visitors, but scoring has not been an issue for the Crows. They are averaging a massive 107 points per game, the second-most in the league.
Adelaide have also travelled well, covering the line in five of their last six games outside South Australia and in four of their last five at Optus.
They have simply looked the better team in 2025 and they should get the job done here.
Same Game Multi
Ben Keays has kicked a goal in 16 straight games.
Matt Crouch is always a good SGM play as he rarely attracts much opposition attention. He’s had 25+ in 13 of his last 14.
If Adelaide are peppering the goals then Luke Ryan should get plenty of kick-ins. He’s had 20+ in four straight at home.
Value Bet
The Dockers gave up 107 points against a previously offensively-poor team in Melbourne last week. Adelaide have scored 114+ points in all three of their games against bottom ten opponents. This is a big price for them to pile on another monster number.
