This line looks just a bit too big for the visitors.
Freo have been very good against top eight teams recently, covering the line in five of their last six. While they’ve lost six games this season, only two of those defeats were by more than this line. One came in a strangely poor showing against St Kilda and the other back in Round 1 against Geelong at Kardinia Park. Their other losses came by margins of 11, 14, 10 and three points.
The Pies have been only average against fellow finals contenders, covering in just three of eight games.
There is some major instability in their line-up this week with five changes and the loss of significant experience. Jeremy Howe, Dan Houston, Tim Membrey and Tom Mitchell are all out, while Brody Mihocek headlines the inclusions.
Fremantle get a huge boost with the return of Hayden Young, who brings much-needed spark to their midfield mix.
With the underdog covering in five of the last six between these teams, back Freo to stay within 20 points.
Same Game Multi
