The over looks like the obvious play with both the Giants and Crows ranked in the top three for scoring, but with showers in the forecast, we’re pivoting to the away team.

Both sides have found the scoreboard with ease this season, but there’s a clear gap between them defensively. The Giants are ranked fourth for points conceded at 74 per game, while the Crows sit equal 12th, giving up 91 per game.

Even against the Roos and Bombers, two sides widely tipped to finish in the bottom six, the Crows conceded 78 and 100 points respectively. The highest score the Giants have allowed this season is 82, coming last week against the Saints.

GWS also have the edge in this match-up, winning four of the last five, including three at Adelaide Oval. Some forecast showers further favour the visitors, who have covered the line in five of their last six games played in the wet.
