Disposals
A great SGM booster, Holmes has been a top three rated player for Geelong in each of his three games against Brisbane this year, racking up 23, 23 and 29 disposals.
Zorko has racked them up against the Cats this year, collecting 28, 33 and 25 touches in his three games against the Cats in 2025.
Fletcher had hit 20 in nine straight games prior to last week, when he had 18. He’s also been taking some kick ins throughout the year.
The mature recruit has been a very consistent ball-winner, securing 15+ touches in each of his last ten games.
Lay
Patrick Dangerfield
Danger was extraordinary last week but that came against Hawthorn’s far weaker midfield. If he gets off the chain, you can be sure that Josh Dunkley will spend some time on the Cats skipper, which may see him head forward again.
Bailey Smith
Bazlenka has struggled against the Lions this year, with his three games against them ranking in his bottom seven this year. He’s averaged 31 touches per game this year, but only 25 against this opponent.
Hugh McCluggage
A certainty to be tagged by Oisin Mullin again after the Irishman kept him to a season-low 14 touches in the Qualifying Final.
Goals
The smalls have dominated the GF, especially Lohmann last year who booted four. He’s also kicked 2+ in each of his last two against Geelong.
Bailey has kicked a snag in nine of his last 10 games and five in his last two games. He averages 1.8 per game at the MCG in five games this season.
Mannagh has been terrific lately, booting 2+ in four of his last five games, including two 3+ performances. He’s also kicked 2+ in five of seven at the MCG this season.

All the talls
Key forwards have struggled in recent Grand Finals, with only Jack Riewoldt and Jack Gunston kicking four of more in the last 15 deciders.
Cam Rayner
Rayner copped a tag from Mark O’Connor in the Qualifying Final, and while he still managed to kick three, he had a below average disposal game, only recording 13.
